The overall steps are:
2 . Double-click on the downloaded file to install Windows Password Recovery Tool Standard. You can install it on any PC you have access to, not necessarily on a computer you wish to unlock.
3 . The installation process is quick. Upon successful completion of the installation, an installation successful screen will be displayed! Enable the "Run Windows Password Recovery Tool Standard. " check-box and click the "Finish" button. Windows Password Recovery Tool Standard will be launched automatically.
1 . Open Windows Password Recovery Tool Standard program
2 . Choose CD/DVD to burn Windows password reset disk:
Insert a CD/DVD disk into the CD-ROM drive and specify the CD burning drive from the pull-down list of the CD/DVD options (USB Flash drive for Professional or higher version). Click "Burn" button to start burning an ISO image file to the CD/DVD.
3 . In the pop-up window, select "Yes" to go on burning (All data in this cd/dvd will be erased.)
4 . The Windows password reset CD/DVD has been created successfully, click "OK" to finish the operation.
5 . The burning successfully completed. Take out the password recovery bootable CD/DVD and put it into your locked computer to reset the lost or forgotten password.
1 . Insert newly created CD/DVD and reboot your computer.

2 . When the CD/DVD boots, you'll see Windows Password Recovery Tool Standard is initializing (see screenshot below).
3 . After loading, you will see the interface of Windows Password Recovery Tool Standard.
Select the target Windows system you want to reset password for on the start page, click Next to be processed:
4 . All the user names will be displayed, select the user accounts whose password you want to reset and click "Next" button to reset the password.
Note: You will see all user names of your accounts are displayed with the passwords showing Unknown or Empty. Unknown means you have a password for the user name, maybe you lost it. Empty means you do not have password for the user name, you can login the account without password.
5 . Congratulations message is displayed. You have removed the password successfully. Click "Reboot" to restart your computer and login Windows system without any password.
6 . Remove the Windows Password Recovery Tool Standard bootable CD/DVD and click "Restart Now" button to reboot the computer. Now you are able to log into your computer without a password.
